At Hummingbird Counseling and Consulting, our fee is as follows:
Individual / Family Sessions
55 minutes

$175 per session
Payment
At Hummingbird Counseling and Consulting, we aim to keep our payment process simple and transparent.
Payment Methods
Credit card, debit card, and HSA cards
Payment is processed at the end of each session
Insurance
We are in-network with Aetna, United Healthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield
Coverage varies by plan; please verify your benefits (co-pays, deductibles, etc.) directly with your insurance
We bill insurance directly; you are responsible for any applicable out-of-pocket costs
For out-of-network plans, we can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens and schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice — or any no-show — will incur a $50 fee. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Notice of Good Faith Estimate
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, the “No Surprise Act,” you have a right to receive a “good faith estimate” explaining how much your therapy service will cost. Healthcare providers are required to provide clients who do not have insurance or who choose not to use their insurance for therapy services with an estimate of the cost of those services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total cost of therapy services
Make sure your therapist gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before the appointment. You may also ask your therapist for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an appointment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
